About the Firm

Senior lawyers with investing and operating experience.

The Firm

Venture Bridge Law pairs its founder with a bench of senior, Big Law trained business lawyers. Our core clients are the executives and general counsel of middle-market companies, who come to us for responsive, practical advice on M&A, financings and complex commercial transactions. We also act as investor counsel for emerging VC fund managers and advise a limited number of early-stage startups and their investors.

Our team pairs legal depth with investing and operating experience. The aim is to be a long-term advisor: to anticipate what clients will need and to solve problems before they affect the bottom line.

Ahmed Hasan founded the firm in 2026, after more than a decade of transactional practice and time on both the operating and investing side. He built it for clients who want Big Law judgment without Big Law staffing. Senior counsel runs every matter, and no client pays to train junior associates.

How We Work

The business problem first.Legal advice is only useful if it solves the business problem underneath. Every recommendation is weighed against your objectives and your tolerance for risk, and you hear what we would do, not just the options.

Fewer clients, deeper work.Taking on a limited number of engagements leaves time we don’t bill for learning how each business works. Going deep and thinking from first principles is how we see issues coming instead of reacting to them.

An extension of your team.We take ownership of workstreams and run with them, so you are not left managing outside counsel. When a matter needs a specialist, we add a senior one, and only then.

Built to close. Our job is to be a partner in the success of every transaction, never an impediment. We would rather build trust with counsel on the other side than spend your money on posturing. When a deal goes sideways, we look for the creative fix that gets it back on track and preserves the relationships you will rely on after closing.

Our Founder

Ahmed Hasan leads the firm. Before founding it, he practiced at White Summers Caffee & James and Inventus Law. He was Chief Strategy Officer at a hard-tech startup, helping to lead its fundraising and commercial strategy, and earlier helped launch a VC firm’s first fund. He understands the pressures his clients face because he has faced them himself.
